Cellar 59 Wine Bar and Wine Shop -- Stow, OH
On Wednesday we went out with our friends to celebrate our usual mid-week wine Wednesday. We stumbled upon Cellar 59 by accident while traveling from Chapel Hill mall to Stow, when we saw the wine bar sign, we decided to add it to our list of places to check out. Our wine Wednesday events are pretty hit or miss. When our first friend arrived there weren't many people there, but after a half hour or so many of the tables we filled. Cellar 59 has a small list of wines that you can order by the glass or you can choose a bottle from their wine shop and for a $10 corking fee they'll chill the bottle if necessary and open it for your table. I guess split between the three of us an extra $10 really wasn't that big of a deal, but I wish they had said something when we chose the bottle of wine, instead it appears at the bottom of the menu in tiny print. I probably would have preferred a glass of wine for a much cheaper price. Both our wines required ice buckets, once ...
