Art on the Green -- Hudson, OH

On Sunday, we attended the 35th annual Art on the Green in Hudson. The yearly event hosts about 150 artists who create in a wide variety of ways, you can find: jewelry, painting, pottery, woodcarving, glass, weaving, enamel, sculpture, leather, photography, and garden decor.

**Some artists had signs asking that photos not be taken of their work, I think we managed to be really respectful of those signs, but if you see something that's yours and would like the photo of it removed, send me an email.**

Although it was hot on Sunday, the event was pretty crowded.

It took about an hour and a half to two hours to peruse all of the different vendors, although Dave and I didn't make any purchases (these pieces are out of our price range for now, maybe next year we can buy something!) Dave's aunt purchased a painting. If you're looking for something new to add flair to your home or even a custom piece of jewelry, Art on the Green would be a good event to visit next year.

The event takes place on the South Green which is near the First and Main shopping district, there is parking available along the street, as well as in various parking lots throughout the area. You may need to park and walk a little to get to the South Green. The event itself is free, there are food and drinks available for purchase. Make sure to bring cash! It seemed like about half of the vendors used Square and were able to take debit/credit cards.

My rating for Art on the Green:
